Played much better. I'm still playing (relatively) tight and not bluffing as much as I was before. I still feel a little like I suck, but not quite so much. It happened in a big way when I made a call that I thought was going to be great but ended up costing me a lot of money.

Seat 2: sinestral ($9.35 in chips)
Seat 6: RNG_Coder ($14.55 in chips)
Marcio7: posts small blind $0.05
sinestral: posts big blind $0.10
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to RNG_Coder [9c Th]
3 folds
RNG_Coder: raises $0.15 to $0.25
Partly a steal, partly to build a pot for when I hit big
3 folds
Marcio7: calls $0.20
sinestral: raises $0.15 to $0.40
RNG_Coder: calls $0.15
6:1 odds, probably 7:1 for the same reason, means I can't fold
Marcio7: calls $0.15
*** FLOP *** [4d Kh 9h]
Marcio7: checks
sinestral: bets $0.80
RNG_Coder: raises $1.70 to $2.50
I want to know where I am. A call probably means I'm beat, and a reraise clearly does. Villain is relatively straightforward
Marcio7: folds
sinestral: calls $1.70
*** TURN *** [4d Kh 9h] [Kd]
sinestral: checks
Makes me think the king doesn't help him. On reflection, he's probably not as straightforward as I thought. I check behind because there are still a number of hands that beat me, including if I'm wrong about the K.
RNG_Coder: checks
*** RIVER *** [4d Kh 9h Kd] [7d]
sinestral: bets $3.10
RNG_Coder: calls $3.10
This is the call I thought would make me a real man but really just made me a muppet. Unless he, like everyone else, is giving me no respect and is betting 88 and down, a crappy 9 (only 98 even begins to make sense with preflop) or A7s, I'm dead. I really should give up and cut my losses here, I think.
*** SHOW DOWN ***
sinestral: shows [Ad Ks] (three of a kind, Kings)
RNG_Coder: mucks hand
sinestral collected $11.80 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $12.40 Rake $0.60

The thing that really cost me here was not thinking everything through, not using the info from every street. It's perfectly possible he c-bet the flop with AQ or 88 or something, then checked the turn because I didn't go away. But I don't see how he can call a raise with those. I think up to the river my play is fine. Half pot is a value bet so often I really shouldn't call.
